Planning My Homeschool Year
Schedule + Curriculm for 2025/26
The bug bit.
Just when I thought I was going to roll into the fall armed with nothing but pure determination and a stack of Saxon Math books, God gifted a torrent of vision, creativity, and clarity for our Homeschool this upcoming year. Everything Elisha and I have been talking about concerning the children’s education finally crystallized into a curriculum, a schedule, and a plan of action for 25/26.
Maybe it’s the baby starting solids. Maybe it’s the toddler nearing the end of potty training. Maybe it’s simply the dark chocolate, but I feel I finally have the bandwidth to lead the charge of the six little charglings looking to me for direction.
Of course, last time I felt this motivated to plan the school year we moved into a tent, sold our home, and slogged through pregnancy nausea, but we must start somewhere, and we must carry on from where we start.
Needless to say, curriculum is purchased, so I’m committed now. Here are the six steps I take to go about planning the new school year.
