Today I ran 8.67 miles. I may never run again.

I sit here in my long green jumpsuit like an unevenly cooked asparagus—soggy in my aching waist and shoulders, but feeling like I’m going to crack off at the knees.

You see, I belong to The Katie Running Club. Sadie comes too. Her name rhymes with Katie so she’s allowed. Maybe other people are allowed too, I don’t know. I’m not the president of the Katie Running Club, I just show up when I’m not pregnant and the weather is nice.
